This was surprisingly fun to listen to!

I'd always felt that going backwards into OutKast's discography would result in hearing more traditional hip-hop and less experimentation/soul fusion but that is not the case at all. I love the alien theme used throughout this album and some of the electronic sounds they used sound really fresh for 1996 especially.

Even through all the goofy beats they still find the time to mention the predatory nature of record labels and young new artists barely getting paid for an album selling millions of units. The beginning is definitely the strongest part of the album but the second half is still incredible and not at all worth skipping.
