Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album

This one tuff -- the drums and all real nice

Chief Keef - Finally Rich
85

Definitely a ride. Very Fun, with grand highlights. Even on the lowlights (Ballin, etc.) the beats are pleasing and fun. An album made better with time.

TV Girl - Who Really Cares
84

Really surprisingly nicely produced. Vocals are comforting and the whole thing creates this stylistic blanket of sound. The sampling is used really well and the production makes the album more than the immature lyrics. So solid.

Big Thief - Capacity
88

So so clean and pretty. Real calming.

SWMRS - Sonic Tonic
48

Let down asf. Heavy Rotation is good enough but the rest of the songs are so soulless.

Mr Twin Sister - In Heaven
73

cotton candy bisexual indie dreamypop. good for tv girl fans

St. Paul & The Broken Bones - The Alien Coast
54

I don't care. It's 50 shades core.

Lorde - Melodrama
92

Melodrama is on the list of greatest breakup albums ever. The album cover is so fucking good. Captures perfectly the mindset Lorde is in. Fishmans - LONG SEASON

Like . . . whatever. ORANGE is better. Section 5 of this is really great but the rest of it is fine. I think I have to listen to it in a different setting. For now I'm bored.

Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend

who gives a fuck about this hamptons white people ass album
it's pretty sonically tight though

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
90

O-ROD!!!! this album is either pop punk and fun or kind of sad ballads. I like the power pop punk stuff more, but the ballads as a whole are a lot better than on SOUR. better lyrics, better production. I wish she would go far into pop punk and make a whole album of stuff like that, expanding on the experimentation she does on a couple of songs.

Overall I would say that this is an experimental and new step album for Olivia, and there's a lot of directions she can go from here. But this doesn't ... read more

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.
87

definitely very rich and well done. seems like a debut that could be followed up with an incredible psych rock second album.

black seminole, the ride, drive ME crazy, and the last track are incredible.

Deerhoof - Breakup Song
86

so funky. crazy takes on breakups but its so boppy despite being dissonant

klwn cat - panther, vol. 2
76

sparse but it's still filling. jungle like and such.

Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse - Dark Night of the Soul
69

it's alright. The songs are good mostly but a little generic and the vibes are off. jaykub is nice.
