The use of vocals in the production and construction of this album is truly fascinating. In my opinion, Björk fans can easily overlook “Medúlla”. Lately, I've been revisiting a lot of Dean Blunt's and Hype Williams' work, so of course I came back to this album; I had to re-listen to it! To be completely honest, my rating would probably be a bit lower if I didn't have so much love and nostalgia attached to this project; however, I do confidently believe this album has a layer of complexity and mystery worth exploring.

I feel that Homogenic was truly a turning point for Björk's artistry. The differences in rhythmic influences between her two previous solo albums and this one, such as the influences of Aphex Twin on "Jóga" and "Bachelorette" or Howie B's production on a number of songs, were game-changing but probably shocking at the time. A personal favorite of mine (currently), it has a soft and light production but also has some experimental aspects to it. In my opinion, it has amazing fluidity, but I can understand why some people think this album can be a little repetitive. I love love loooove this.
This album means so much to me… Eusexua is a highly curated album. It generates such a palpable feeling for the listener, whilst listening to this project.
