one of the best rappers in the game for a while. although his standards are high, this album hits the mark. the title track is one of my favorite songs of the year, insanely catchy. def have to listen more to see which tracks arise as my favs. gonna make me go back and figure out my fav griselda related albums
need to start going back and reviewing some of my favs. this one is definitely up there. got me into bossa and opened my mind up to a new sound. without this album i would of never learned about antonio carlos jobim, astrud gilberto, baden powell and so many other artists. after diving deeper into the sound this still stands out as my favorite. this album perfectly teeters the line between simple and fulfilling. one of the best records to put on to calm your mind in any situation.
really enjoyable listen, always loved kenny and this felt like a great culmination of a lot of his sounds. its a really good instrumental mix with some bangers that are really worth coming back to.
favs: still, last words, hot hand

never really listened to a lot of beyonce, but my brother really wanted to me to listen to thins one. i really liked a lot of the more acustic cuts from the album, beyonce's voice over simple production is really calming and enjoyable to listen too. some of the more loud stuff wasn't really falling for me but maybe i just don't get it yet. saghettii is hard too
favs: protector, bodyguard, alligator tears, blackbiird, spaghettii
sorry AOTYheads its popular and good!!! fresh sound to the pop scene

THIS ALBUM SOUNDS LIKE FEELING
raw emotion in the form of an album. this album is amazing and does a great job harnessing raw sounds while not sacrificing anything. hearing the sounds in the room and dijon's far away vocals really makes it feel as if you were in the room when the songs were conceived. you can really hear the passion in dijon's voice throughout the whole album. he gets loud and raspy at the climax and on songs like many times the raw vocals ... read more
a lot more concise of a record than a museum of contradiction, which now seems to be a transition from this older sound to his new sound on two star. this fed further into the groovy sounds i heard on museum. great production with a lot of bright guitar.

a far cry from the emotion and sounds we hear on Two Stars, but still a pretty good record. After listening to Two Stars non-stop for the past month I really wanted to see what other music Mk.gee had earlier in his discography. i honestly got a very different sound than i expected. this album sounds more of a toro y moi influenced record, with a little bit more pulled back production. the last two songs on the record were easily my favorites, and were the only that I could see a real ... read more
this album is everything. just listened fully through for the first time in a while and man its so good. this song just feels like being in college, it goes through so many themes that i feel on a daily basis and the ability of the guitars and julians voice to show emotion is really great. the strokes really just put out amazing music
