His first truly great certified masterpiec. Life On Mars? is the star of the record but Quicksand deserves a shout
This song feels like a breezy autumn afternoon, makes me want to a jazz café and read some pretentious book like Camus or whatever with an shitty and overpriced coffee next to me. An ode to life, truly
I may suffer from a little bias, but how come no one mention that Paul Banks features in this Masterpiece?? Decided to put this on while studying. I normally focus on what I'm doing and the music really just is in the background, and that did happen until that is minute 3 hits on Doberman and I left what I was doing to enjoy it and tap my pencil to it. I kid you not I almost jumped out of excitement when I read the name of the artist that featured in Incidental III. A bit disappointed ... read more
Spotify's discover weekly truly knows my taste. Big heads up to that Soulless Evil MegaCorporation's only good feature. Wow
This is music greatness, my 15 year old self could not fathom that five years later the same piece of music could gain that much more sentiment and a whole new meaning. Nice is quite the overstatement but we're getting there
Rap Português em 2025 está uma valente merda. A cada lançamento que passa o Prof parece menos motivado, menos carismático, mais previsível. Tive de ouvir Mixtakes para limpar o palato
Bowie's #2 - 'Space Oddity' obviously carries record, amazing psychedelic track, impossible to ignore in his catalogue. I am quite surprised this has this low of a score, because I quite liked the first half and even If not in its best rendition - 'Memory of a Free Festival' is bop.
Bowie's #1 - Yeah this stinks. Even though 'Please Mr. Gravedigger' and 'There is a Happy Land' are quite interesting structured, it falls really flat and is, I hope the weakest link in Bowie's discography. Not much else to say.
MIght change my mind on it, but , as it stands, I am not crazy for the sound of this album. Eusexua is an amazing start, it feels really grand and groovy. I just didn't feel the rest of the record as I felt the title track and don't even get me started on Childlike Things, god what an annoying track.
The Alchemist will go down in history as one of the best producers ever - man just has it in him, beat after beat after beat, never ever disapoints. GOAT
Clearly some talent here , however sounds ass compared to theirs Npr's Tiny Desk ngl
It's pretty sweet, but that's it. Besides maybe the last two tracks, there's little to no depth and even switching up genres, they do still sound samey.
I just can't believe we're never getting a glimpse of any more of his songs. Life is a tragedy.
