Nada de especial; o mesmo conceito foi explorado no ano passado por Slow J de modo bem mais convincente
I can't believe i had the chance to listen to this live ON MY BIRTHDAY and I fumbled it...
Might be that it didnt click ?! I am a big fan of sling and my expectations were pretty high until I heard "Sexy with Someone". Not that it is a bad track, but I don't love it either. The tracks feel somewhat samey and the only high point is Juna me thinks. Yeah will listen to it again but so far so meh.
So this was one of the albums I downloaded for my trip to Iceland, as I really enjoyed LIVE.LOVE.A$AP and Jukebox Joints is one hell of a track. Holy Ghost and Canal St. as well as Back Home did it for me, I absolutely love them. Everyday, Max B and Fine Whine I really enjoyed the first few times, however as I listened to them more and more, I understood that they are flawed, feel really slow and the features don't add that much, specially M.I.A, what a waste. To be entirely honest the three most famous tracks brought me here. I deeply adore Foreground and Ready, Able and was therefore expecting this project to bring the same feeling as those tracks did. That they did. Southern Point is fantastic, Two weeks is still incredible but feels more poppy than it used to. Fine for now and While you wait for the others are great.
This is genuinely great. I had listened to the track "Jazz is for ordinary people" and loved it- this album takes it to the next level. Just wow
Edit : It's been a few days and I listened to it again. What was I cooking... This not a 91 by no means. This does not feel so whimsical and extraordinare after a few listens. Still pretty sweet tho!
Besides Thinking About You and Underdressed at the Symphony this is a pretty inofensive mild boring soft record
the first half is so fucking good rad cool awesome i hear it on a weekly basis
