far n away my OTHER favorite album this year. more billie eilish is always a very good thing and think this album sees her exploring a lot of new deeper darker sounds production wise. i remember during the rollout for this album, part of the description was that it would literally "hit hard and soft" in both sound and lyrics, and it does! bittersuite, blue, and the diner are all phenomenal examples of this album's philosophy.
