While this is far from a bad project, Laurel Hell is undoubtedly Mitski's weakest output. Tracks like "Everyone" and "I Guess" felt repetitive and almost filler-y, and some others were pleasant but forgettable. That being said, the rest of the album is still pretty solid, with a few of the singles and deeper cuts like "Valentine, Texas" standing out among the rest.
