This album is exactly the epitome of everything Norah set out to experiment with her music throughout her discography. Well done, Norah, a widely-misunderstood gem!
I’m digging “Ignore Tenderness” and the slower moodier track “Moviegoer” in particular. Also, as a devout fan of her earlier works, I am fairly glad to witness Julia’s growth as a songstress blossoming into a world of her own.
definitely a more engrossing and somber listen sonically than his last one and i'm literally shivering with each killer lines conveyed by Kendrick's icy and on-the-point bars
It's technically top-notch, however, I find myself failing to quite apprehend this album as a whole concept and dissect it into several parts where things begin to make sense. Yeah, I'll revisit it after some time.
Don't get me wrong, it's still way ahead of its time!
