HE RUINED "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"
This album is amazing. the BLACK seminole is one of my favourite songs OAT. This album really hones in on experimental production and executes it well which I love. I like when Yachty's in this bag as opposed to his typical rapping bag.
Experiencing this with the video first time round was the best decision I could've made. The visuals add so much to the listening experience. Some of the locations chosen by Quadeca were just insane. And the final drop in Casper was fucked, I'll never forget that moment.
Very nice album. Was slightly underwhelmed however, but I'm sure a bunch of the tracks will grow on me. I love the extended outros on a lot of tracks, ESPECIALLY the one on Mind Loaded.
This album makes me feel like I'm at the top of a nice rooftop bar and Kaytranada is performing. Cold beats, but I wish there were more verses and features on ts. I love SPACE INVADER and BLAX tho.
Wow....just wow.......I wish mommanem was a full song. My soul was nurtured when I listened to I'll take care of you for the first time.
Went into this album loving all three singles prior, ESPECIALLY FORGONE, I learned ts on the piano. I experienced this album for the first time with the movie, one of the best experiences for an album ever. My mouth was open wide by the end. Thank you, Quad, there isn't a bad song on this project
GRADE: B+
I'm rating this purely based off the new tracks. There are a bunch of tracks here that I think should've replaced songs from the original tracklist. It was also really cool to see "What the hip hop hell is this?" get an official release. On the other hand, there are a few tracks in which I can understand why they were cut off the original album.
GRADE: B+
This was a great experience from Abel and a great way to close out such a fantastic legacy as The Weeknd. This is the most cohesive album I've heard in a long time, the songs blended together fantastically. 22 songs was probs a bit of a drag for the idea tho. 15-16 songs would've been a more manageable amount.
Really cool album, loved the surprise drop. It's nice to see Kenny delving into his playful rapping style. The production is great, the features are also great. There are a couple of not as good songs and there weren't any insane songs but it was still a top 5 of the year.
Definitely one of the best this year, hasn't aged as well as I thought it would, but there are still a few standout tracks on the rotation today.
