Since I Left You is a truly special album. Something unlike any other album i've ever heard. Something that can never be replicated, or done ever again, in any other way. The first track on this album is my favorite song of all time. Do you want to know why that is? Because SILY is a song that reminds me that i have people that care about me on this Earth. That i have people that love me. That i have people that need me. And that's why i'm still alive today. Because SILY gives me ... read more
Solace, even with just a quite short, ten minute experience, has left a lasting impact on me. I just got finished listening to the album. It's 11pm.
Solace is amazing. I almost cried to the piano loop. Honestly, when it comes to this, i don't really have anything to say. However, there's one line that I keep thinking about: "Time waits for no man and death waits with cold hands."
It's amazing.
This is an amazing avant-garde album. I really enjoyed listening to it.
Fav songs: Everything. There wasn't a single song that i didn't like on this album. Although, if i had to pick which songs were the best, i would say Western, Of Schlagenheim, Ducter, Near DT, MI, Reggae, and 953. Basically every song on this album is the best. It's a fucking avant-prog masterpiece. 10/10.
First of all, I want to start this review off by saying that I believe this is, honestly, the best album of all time. Now, I have three minutes to write this review because I am going to sleep early, and it is my birthday tomorrow. So now, let me explain.
Random Access Memories is a fucking masterpiece. The unparalleled production quality, blending analog warmth with electronic precision, and it also serves as a love letter of sorts to 70s/80s pop. And music in general. Random Access Memories ... read more
Atrocity Exhibition is fucking amazing. I listened to this shit today and it SLAPPED. Dance in the Water and Ain't It Funny are really fucking good. First album I listened to by this guy. I mean, I've heard him on tons of other experimental rap songs as a feature, but this album really is great. Kinda disturbing at the same time too.
10/10 for me.
Production on this album was fucking insane. I really liked Eat Rich, Retirement Ode, Motion Lines, and Ego Death. I can't say I hate any songs on this album, but they do get kinda repetitive. Despite this, it's still a pretty good album.
