A very good album that perfectly captures Alanis Morissette's identity as an artist. Raw, emotional, and full of personality, it showcases exactly what makes her such a compelling presence.

A good album with a gorgeous atmosphere and some truly fantastic highlights. The singles are easily the standouts and contain most of the record’s best moments. While the production remains consistently beautiful throughout, not every track leaves a lasting impression. Still, the strongest songs are more than enough to make this a worthwhile listen.
Kim Petras finally found her lane, and she absolutely nailed it. Detour feels like the first project in years where everything clicks into place instead of chasing trends or trying to fit into a mainstream pop mold. The production is chaotic, catchy, emotional and surprisingly cohesive all at once. Tragic Kingdom is a pretty solid album overall, but for me, not much here truly stands out or grabs my attention outside of some of the singles. Don’t Speak and especially Just a Girl are easily the highlights of the record, but the rest feels a bit inconsistent and filled with a lot of filler. There are definitely some enjoyable moments throughout, yet I rarely find myself wanting to revisit the album as a whole.
