Brad Taste in Music ruined music criticism on this site forever.
I think this is by far Melanie's best album. It's not amazing or anything, but it has its moments. Some songs rule, some take after ones on her previous albums in being cringe. If I made this I would never stop boasting about it. It has been one of my favorite albums for 6 years now. Each song is crafted with complexity and standard pop-influences so that it can be enjoyed by both casual listeners and autistic music-bros at the same time, and no one can deny the genius in that.
