it's got that post-donda emptyness to it, that i just can't explain. i guess liminal is the best way i can describe it, and i'm a sucker for it. just a shame there's no progression in the song, but i guess that's just commitment to the style. still thinks it deserves way more than a 34 tho, the instrumental deserves more
sonically the album is so damn good, he manages to scratch a place in my brain no other artist can reach. he's just such a cornball. mf thinks he's some greater than life person, but i just dont buy it. the storytelling feels like what people that don't read, but do want to write books, would write.
