I have recently been detached from jazz as a genre, but this brought me back to it. Lighthearted and easy to listen, perfect for a summer morning.

An album I really enjoyed, mainly because of the passive and tired-out voice and the dry and solid production. I still would have liked to encounter some more depth and substance tho. It reminds me of ML Buch, Smerz, Astrid Sonne, etc.—basically the whole Copenhagen music scene. Did not expect it to have that many ballad songs, despite the title lol.

Wow, this was absolutely fantastic. Gripping, disturbing yet comforting and very solid. It captures an essence, a style and a vibe. It is pretty clear now the inspiration taken by Hayden to do 'Perverts' (an album I love, btw). I am enthralled by the idea of listening to this every night before going to sleep. Love nighttime albums, love Grouper, love 'Shade', love this even more, I think. I will come back to her discography soon, planning to listen to it all.

Special, intimate and delicately genuine. Really loved it.

Really enjoyed it, the production is excellent and both the political and the personal message are very important nowadays. Probably a bit too british at times hahaha jk.
