one of my favorites honestly. I talk about this album a lot, the concept of them using the album to air out their issues is really interesting and always stuck with me!
Ezra Williams has a chip in my brain and that's why their music is always released describing exact situations I'm going through myself. Being an autistic lesbian is crazy. It's rough out here guys
holds a lot of personal importance to me, even if Trench is still my favorite.
This album walked so Lorde's "Melodrama" could run. Huge nostalgia factor for me, my first album I remember buying off iTunes before a family beach trip! AAn album I regularly find myself going back to and thinking about often.
My go-to album for when I need to regulate and calm down. I love everything about it. Fleet Foxes in general is a comfort band but this album specifically remains unmatched to me. The way the melodies appear in different songs is one of my favorite things artists can do with their music. "Blue Ridge Mountains" is one of my favorite songs of all time, absolutely in my top 3. Recommend this album to everyone I know.
when I listened to this the first time I had to pull over on the highway because it made me alternate between sobbing and dissociation in varying intervals. 10/10 experience.
One of my favorite, if not my favorite record ever. Perfectly encapsulates how it feels to grow up and realize it isn't all you thought it would be. This came out when I was in middle/high school, and I still can't listen to "Ribs" without tearing up.
