this isn't meant to be a "real" album. it exists in a strange creative liminal space that i appreciate it for. no matter how much you pay attention to it, it's eventually going to fade into the background.
this album is so campy for no reason. i'm glad i grew up with it
this is one of those albums that gets better the more you listen to it. the lyrics are just distant enough where they feel like they mean something, but you can never tell exactly what. it invokes this feeling of floating through the void, but being totally fulfilled in doing so.
this album is too nostalgic for me personally to rate objectively, but that's not going to stop me
this album contains some of the best-constructed pop songs i've ever listened to. run away with me is a masterpiece. later songs are less memorable, but nonetheless enjoyable.
my favourite album of all time. no matter how many times i return to it, it never loses its edge because of how immaculate every single second of every single song is.
the saddest thing i will have ever listened to. a masterpiece borne of genuine desperation
