This album is really unique in its dualities and its oscillation between screamo and beautiful instrumentals. It lulls you into a comfort, the musical landscape is idyllic and sublime and then plunges you into the cold water of emo punk rock which gives you an immediate whiplash. its not spectacular but still underrated

i love how minimalistic this album is, the bulk of the emotion is conveyed in bjork's beautiful whispery voice, it sounds tortured, vulnerable, almost secretive in a way. something ive never heard before.
