hasn’t aged a day, pure rock music coming from a woman who is clearly qualified. songwriting is catchy like pop music but the instrumentation is hard

you either get it or you don’t. it’s experimental, gothic, and possibly her most political work yet. I can’t help but fall more in love with Madonna for choosing to use her platform to push the messages that she stands for. the only thing that keeps me from fully loving this album are the songs that are less serious, like Medellín and Bitch I’m Loca.

this album gets more hate than it deserves. Madonna had nothing left to prove by this point and she just wanted to make an album that would make people want to get up and dance. I think she accomplished that goal, and made many songs that deserved to be staples in her already-lengthy greatest-hits collection. She’s Not Me is a masterpiece of a disco song, Give It To Me is fun and cheeky, and Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You is moody and sensational. Candy Shop proved to be the hit that ... read more

words from critics cannot describe how beautiful this album is. it is simply an album that everyone must listen to with an open mind and open ears.

incredibly underrated and misunderstood album from fans and audiences alike. on the surface it looks like it’s going to be political, though I wouldn’t even place it in the top three of Madonna’s most political albums. this album is raw, emotional, and personal - possibly the most we have ever seen from her even still. she discusses life as a mother, her experiences losing her mother as a young child, and discusses American ideals in a cheeky manner. I can’t even pick ... read more

this album aged surprisingly better than I think most people anticipated. Girl Gone Wild should have been a bigger hit, Gang Bang deserved a music video, and I’m Addicted is EDM perfection. the album falls flat in the middle, with songs like Turn Up The Radio and Superstar that would have been better kept in the Radio Disney vault. but some of the camp elements are done more properly on songs like Give Me All Your Luvin’ (which has an iconic cheer for a chorus) and I’m A ... read more

the sequel nobody asked for to an already boring and uninspired project. makes you wonder why she even bothers trying when the most clever thing she can come up with is repeating song titles over and over again on beats produced by a convicted rapist… then you realize it’s because her fans will buy anything she releases due to the brain rot caused by defending her inexcusable behavior.

sloppy, messy, and painfully boring. choosing to debut as a slave to Dr. Luke is all you need to know about this mixtape of unrelated songs. Unholy is definitely the biggest hit she’ll ever have and it’s a Sam Smith song. it’s inclusion on this tracklist was the last pathetic attempt at inflating the sales on this already bloated album.

uninspired rubbish, you would need to have your brain fried from drugs to even find this remotely entertaining. giving Dr. Luke a platform and normalizing working with him should be a crime. in fact, having him copy indie artists like Ayesha Erotica should be a life sentence.
