Can’t believe he’d been sitting on some of these tracks for so long

After hearing the first few singles, I was so excited as they had the classic Drums sound we first fell in love with. However, it seems the rest of the album went a completely different direction and just didn’t seem to fit. ‘I want it all’ and ‘better’ lured me into expecting something similar to Abysmal Thoughts, which is perhaps the reason I felt even more disappointed (which I hate to admit).

After three practically perfect albums, I had very high expectations. There are some absolutely stunning tracks - ‘Just Stand There’ might be one of my favourite songs of his. Fear Less and Backseat are also beautiful.

Album of the year and Billie’s best IMO. I thought I was a Billie fan before, but this album changed my brain chemistry. Regretfully deducting 1 point (lol) because I have to skip The Diner.

Firstly - we LOVE to see an Aussie act blow up globally like this, something that hasn’t really happened to this extent in a long time. This is a great album overall - with many certified indie rock hits. I think we can expect to see these guys get bigger and better by album #3.
