This is my favourite band of all time and drag path is an easy 10/10 but releasing it like this is disgusting. I love this band so fucking much but it is undeniable that they've made a lot of business decisions that are so hostile to their fans (which are still gonna glaze btw).

The beats are mostly pretty boring, his flow is kinda boring and the lyrics seem like they were written by a 14 year old edgelord.
There is a lot of transphobia on this album and an umcomfortable amount of Caitlyn Jenner references.
How is this any different to the shit that tom macdonald has been putting out?

In a lot of ways it's a Vessel song with amazing production. In a lot of ways it's completely new sound for the band. It's definitely a well written track. The instrumental isn't the most innovative thing ever but it's so well produced that I don't care. I was very worried and I can see why people would not like this but I love it tbh. The production is great (especially the drums sound amazing) and there is a lot of personality in Tyler's performance. It's not Trench 2.0 but it's definitely Trench-like.

I'm glad that we still have pop stars with personalities.

The production is pretty much flawless although it can seem a little generic at points. The performances of all the band members are all incredible. The sound is very smooth which makes this album a very pleasant listen. It's quite easy on the ears. The only thing that's kinda hit or miss for me is the writing. Sometimes it's really interesting, descriptive and gripping and sometimes it's simply very bland. Overall I did find the most of the themes quite interesting though.
