This album carries an emotional weight to it that isn’t in other albums. All of the songs bring this air of hopelessness and depression, but not through the lens of agony and suffering.
Theres an innocence to it, it’s the sadness thats built from disappointment, being let down, putting your hopes up. It’s the soundtrack to a your first breakup, the soundtrack to realizing that youthful glimmer you felt in your eyes was maybe a little foolish of you.

When i listen to this, i dont feel anything, not even boredom.
HALO rides an incredible emotional momentum driven by crunchy, glitzy production and its soul-filling vocal delivery. it just keeps going and the ride never ends
I never wanted to know what an album felt like with color-sound synesthesia so bad. It's so lush and tight for an ensemble piece. If you told me this was made by Oneohtrix Point Never in Ableton today, I would 100% believe you. This is scarily ahead of it's time, and nothing like I had ever heard before in a classical piece. I need more
