this is some of the best pop punk ever i just wish the second half was as consistent as the first

i remember around 3 years ago i knew about this song because i heard the chorus a couple times online, and of course this song was unreleased by this point and balloonerism was seen as an album we were never going to get

when balloonerism finally released, i was really excited to listen to this track and my god, did it live up to my expectations.. i remember people said it was good but this is enough to make a grown man cry

the vocal effects on the verse is weird but i got used to it so idc

this album is fucking crazy. this is everything i wanted in a shoegaze album. the riffs are crazy, the vocals and the mixing fit the instrumentals really well in a way that makes the imperfect mix perfect. it makes this album feel very personal, which based on the lyrics it really is. theres an evangelion reference in white ceiling which is cool and funny.

i still need to relisten but on first listen this is great, i thought the huge amount of singles before the album were gonna ruin it for me but it rlly didnt, this album is pretty good

i was really surprised when i saw this album got a 69... this is geniunely such a great come back for chance the rapper. also tree is a good song

yes, there’s mid ass tracks across this but i actually don’t think it’s bad *overall*, i listened to it a lot last year and hearing that frank ocean sample at like 7 in the morning was lowkey a spiritual experience..
