for being b-sides, especially of such a long album, this is pretty good.
as an album it is a bit inconsistent but the highs are really good

one of the best rap albums ever turns 15 years old today so i decided to review since i guess i never did
i love maximalist production and this was my introduction to it back in 2021. this album feels so grand and royal in a way i think Watch The Throne couldn't really do. it's so egotistical yet vulnerable with some of the best one liner's & writing since college dropout.
favs: all of them but i kind of wish blame game didn't have that fucking long chris rock thing

this album is just really sad and for being this long it was consistently good. i listened to disc 1 yesterday and then disc 2 today and both discs are amazing. i think i prefer disc 2 but disc 1 is more impressive musically. boxing day is a masterpiece. i expect to listen to the b side compilation later today.

this album is like twin fantasy (2011) where a lot of its emotion comes out through the unpolished sound
i think twin fantasy does it better but this is a good follow up to twin fantasy although i do think it struggles with sounding too repetitive at times. this album highkey deserved a face to face treatment
