HOLY SHIT this album is GOOD. I used to listen to this album all the time during one of the worst periods of my life. A particularly dark period in my adolescence where I had no faith in absolutely anything, where hope was an option that had faded behind me years before. This is one of the first albums I've ever listened from start to finish (back in 2021), as well as the one that got me into hip-hop as a foreigner. These days I've been revisiting this album after years without listening to Kendrick, and oh boy, I appreciate it more now than I did back then!
