The album inspired by Berlin doesn’t sound like Berlin to me. The city itself is all about club culture, underground music, and diversity. I believe PSB could have combined all of that beautifully, but instead they played it safe and made the kind of music they’re best at. The album isn’t bad — I actually like some songs (like I Don’t Wanna, for example) — but I know it could’ve been better. The remixes from this era are dope, though.

What can I say? I prefer Lily when she’s being sarcastic, but even so, this record is good and well-produced. I like that she stays true to who she is and the music she makes. Do I expect something more experimental? Yes. Am I happy she’s back? 100%! She deserves massive success and support as a songwriter — and after all these years, she’s alright, still.

I really enjoyed the collaboration between PSB and James Ford — they made a really nice and mature record. I’m one of those who love the electronic and dance sound of this band combined with their smart lyrics, and this record actually contains all of that. I hope it will become one of their classics.
