Absolutely beautiful EP. Every track had something good to offer and overall I really enjoyed this. I’m surprised kurt doesn’t have numbers like eric and glaive as he has improved significantly on his hyperpop sound ever since insignia’s manor. I have had night at work on repeat ever since the single dropped late 2024. Something beautiful about his voice istg
I don’t understand the hate on this album, I’ve always liked it ever since it dropped. In my opinion, it’s a fairly good punk album with a really cool reference cover. I’ve been following jaydes for a while and have always enjoyed his alternate accounts’ music like mandy and nunya. Overall, I think this is jaydes’ best album and era. He should continue experimenting with new genres, as he is prolly one of the most versatile artists in the underground.
First off, the transitions on this album are beautiful. I didn’t expect this from Aeter as his previous music is much different compared to the tracks on this album. The stand out track for me was “Filthy Yet So Pretty.” The piano and ambient sounds work perfectly with his voice and overall it’s my favourite track. I love this album - can’t wait for Skin Turns Red next year.
The production throughout the album reminds me heavily of Brakence - especially on the track “FYP.” The layers and textures on each song are amazing and the heavy guitar is done really well on tracks such as “Kill You Off” & “Pearl.” The stand out track for me was “FYP.” The strings at the beginning of the track are so pretty.
