One of my favorite jazz projects of all time.
It truly is Jazz at its most melodic and cohesive, the sounds in this record can put any man at ease with how ethereal and well produced they sound, not to mention that this album has three of the greatest jazz songs of all time, these being Don’t Blame Me, Love theme from Spartacus and Love theme From the Robe. An amazing project overall.

Love theme from the Robe
“I know it’s over, still I cling”
And 36 years later the title’s prophesy was fulfilled.
The Smiths, especially in recent years, have been incredibly controversial (all thanks to Morissey) and although there has been a lot of negative attention on them, that still has not stopped their songs from being relevant again, especially through TikTok with the resurgence of songs like ‘Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now’ and ‘Back to the Old House’. ... read more
“This bottle of Steven’s, awakens ancient feelings”

The blue album, while a bit corny, is a hell of a good time with pretty much no skips. ‘My Name is Jonas’ is a really good opener that just builds up to a phenomenal bridge near the end. ‘No One Else’ is just Rivers being incredibly insecure to an almost pathetic degree, but this loser type character has his comeuppance on ‘The ... read more
“It’s up to me now, turn on the bright lights”
I don’t think the concept of loneliness has ever been so perfectly transmitted through sound as it did on here. Turn on the bright lights is Interpol’s debut album and they entered the scene with one of my favorite albums of all time.
The sound of this record is very dissonant, it sounds like walking alone through mist on a winters day. The vocals here while nothing too technically impressive, fit perfectly into the ... read more
“Mothers, there are too many of you crying”
Simply put, one of the most beautiful albums of all time. Every track here has so much love and passion put into it. Some of the songs genuinely got me to tears especially God is Love due to the passing of Marvin by the hands of his own father. Life is not always fair and this album goes a long way to make us remember that, through some of the most touching instrumentals and vocals put on record.
