Unironically one of the worst albums I’ve ever heard. Nothing on here sounds inspired, nothing on here sounds captivating, nothing on here sounds good. This album is one of the least redeemable pieces of “art” I’ve ever had the displeasure of tuning into. One of, if not the first time I have ever been passionately pissed off with someone’s music. first 2 songs had me thinking this was gonna be REALLY solid. What the FUCK happened after
I still have no idea how I stumbled upon this in 2020 but I am beyond ecstatic that I did. Can’t Stop (A Playa) and Sh’qweyla CARRIED me through the pandemic. This project is amazing, so fun and catchy and groovy and it’s a carefree project made by some people just having a damn good time making music. Very unfortunate the group disbanded, but it’s awesome they left leaving such a massive mark on my life, and surely others as well. Love to Schwey ❤️
I often tell people this is my all-time favorite album, and how it's the one that's inspired me most of all, which is undeniably true, but as is the nature of replaying something a million times over and over through the course of almost ~5/6 years, it's bound to grow off of you.
