Really like this sound. I feel as though it's a tad more boneless in terms of song structure compared to previous albums, but I really like this direction. It was a enjoyable listen, and I anticipate it growing in me quite a lot.
Can't stop listening to this album. The guitar licks are so catchy, and every song has been stuck in my head since first listen. I appreciate Truman's effort to craft an experimental folk project that feels timeless. New age elements, but could be remembered as a classic for years to come.
WOW. Been waiting for something like this to come around for awhile. This is an influential album, akin to Two Star And The Dream Police in terms of revolutionary releases. I haven't been more impressed by a debut in a long time.
Really liked the cohesiveness of this album, Ethel really knows how to tell a story unlike most. I felt that the amount of ambient was a little much, but enjoyable none the less.
