The absolute peak of playful, nostalgic hooks and hazy production in vaporwave. I literally feel like this album sucks me in to the CRT TV on the roller cart playing Bill Nye because my teacher is too hungover to teach.
This is the best early mac miller album because it's early enough to hear his youthful confidence, but polished enough that it isn't just frat rap. What a sick feature list too.
It's really the perfect amalgamation of what makes Mac Miller so lovable, and it walks you right into the heart of what makes his passing so sad.
A really hard debut that wastes no time showing you what this band is made of.
The band seems to find their way from one sick hook to another without really caring much for cohesion within songs (with the exception of the last few tracks). Undeniably tough, catchy, and sludgy.
