My first foray into a full-length K-Pop album and I really enjoyed it overall. I'll be looking forward to exploring the genre further.
Honestly speaking, it's probably the one project by DEMONDICE that I can listen to all the way through without it feeling like a struggle. Production quality is on point. Sure some of the lyrics can be vent-y, or even a little cringe, but you gotta respect the hustle. The thing so endearing about DEMONDICE to me is despite what people say about her music, she keeps going. I find it hella commendable.
I heard this album at a very early age. And while I didn't really have the capacity to understand the lyrics at the time, the feeling I got listening to the album is something I remember fondly. I still have those feelings listening to it nearly 20 years later. It's timeless, at least to me.
Don't let the fact that this is essentially an anime soundtrack deter you from a listen. It's definitely worth every minute of your time.
I love Baelz, but honestly there's not a lot of stuff here that is super memorable. "RxRxR" and "RIDE" are really the only two tracks I find myself ever listening to off this album. It should be said that Baelz can definitely sing, regardless of the material. I'll be looking forward to see how her music develops whenever her next album will inevitably drop.
