This was fun, I really liked it. Interesting choice to split into the movements. If I weren't watching the tracks go by, I would have thought it were one.
I'm not sure exactly what happened here but it was incredible. I have no idea why. I just know how I feel.
Came into this through Flyway and was kind of disappointed that it was the noisiest track on the album. It was alright, just felt a little corny to me.
It was alright, but a little too quirky. I did not like the "sound scavenger hunt" skit in the middle of a track. Misty Morning is great and the reason I listened to this album, but it's really the only track that sounds like that.
I listened to this today but I can't really remember anything about it. I know it was kind of sad and spacey but that's about it. Nothing crazy cool.
Not nearly up to the standards set by Girl With Fish, but still alright. Chores and Tricks are the deserved hits here.
There's a couple drags on this album, but overall, it's really resonated with me. I wish I had found this album back when I first watched Scott Pilgrim as a teenager and wanted to find more "teen rebellious phase" music.
This was very technically impressive and very enjoyable because of it. This is one of those albums you can appreciate simply because of the mastery evident in the music.
I feel bad because I have friends that do not play about this album but it really just wasn't for me. I was kind of stuck waiting for it to be over and that's never a good sign.
I love me some dance punk! However, I have the same issue with every album in that nothing really sticks too well.
I love finding something that fills a very specific niche in music. This album is certainly unique.
Pretty fun. Did a final project on the title track as a protest song. Jara was a pretty cool dude, his music is just not my interest.
I am part of the belief that this will be an essential album in the future. Thank you Mr. Winter.
Genuinely some awesome stuff. The artist is very active and interactive on twitter, so it's hard not to want to support them <3
Seeing this band in concert soon, so I figured I should check out their one and only album. Real good run-of-the-mill shoegaze.
WOW this was crazy! I had Redbone in my playlist for years, since before I was using Spotify and was starting my obsession with Gorillaz. Young me also would have loved this album. My friend put this on right after Mothership Connection by Parliament and by the second track it felt like we were back to it. I really enjoyed how Childish Gambino was obviously just able to do whatever he pleased on this record. That's why I think I would have been into this when I was into Gorillaz because ... read more
I definitely enjoyed this record a lot more than Drunk. Drunk had high points but many low points, while It Is What It Is stays very consistent.
