Guilt Trip - Armour Of Angels
73

Ah, Guilt Trip. I cant not have fun with an album of theirs. Its just a good brain tickle Hardcore band. Not as good as their last LP but still a fun one!

ZOMBIESHARK! - ANGEL NOISES, YOU'RE SAFE NOW.
52

Man hearing the Phrase ''Angel Noises'' be repeated 5000 times really sold this one for me. Uhh this also just kinda blows. Significant stagnation in his songwriting abilities on this one as every song just feels like a carbon copy of every Cyber''grind'' band ever. Like honestly just dont bother with this and listen to his other shit.
Oh also using an AI voiceover for one song this is a Major L.

Converge - Hum of Hurt
71

Mr. President a second converge album has hit 2026. Yeh this isn't all too remarkable. Just more of the slower pace more post hardcoreish stuff from Love is not enough. By no means bad but just a bit of a letdown.

Charred Atlas - Pity The Full Circle
78

Do you like your music fast? Do you like when a record sounds like someone running past you while yelling at you? This is for you then! This album is just absolute burst fire Thrashcore madness that ends just as fast as it starts. At a runtime of 6 and a half minutes it does not even come close to Usain Bolt's 2009 100m sprint World Record of 9.58 seconds but it is still very fast.

Merc - Missing Since 1998
81

Holy. The first track might have one of the nastiest Bassviolence grooves out there. Very World Peace sounding i love it. The 2nd song is also great but not as nasty as the first. Really good shit tho.

Goon Girls - S/T
71

Zorkin it.

Dead Kiwis - EXTREME METAL
76

Color me surprised the way i just checked my release radar today and saw there is a new Dead Kiwis LP. I entirely missed this album rollout so it was quite a surprise to see this band drop out of nowhere. A pleasant one tho cuz this band rips. And so does this new Album.
This thing has these French musicians cover most of the strengths of the genre going from very erratic sections over off tempo feeling parts to straight up just doing the funny panic chord riff that most Mathcore bands have ... read more

Merzbow - Rococo ∞ Echomatter
72

Pretty cool collab here. The mix of Merzbows noise with the spoken word and occasional jazz sections sounded fresh and i enjoyed a lot of the ideas presented here. So with its 31 minute runtime this is quite a nice record.

Ablation - Lethal Abuse
73

Pretty solid Brutal Death. I was hoping a bit more out of this considering this is a supergroup consisting of Rich Nagasawa (Dehumanized), Derek Boyer (Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Disgorge, Deeds of Flesh, Decrepit Birth), Eric Morotti (Suffocation) and Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg). So like with that lineup i was expecting some next level shit. Its still good just not on the level of what most of these musicians are known for.

'68 - They Are Survived
52

And so this marks the end of the duo '68 featuring Nikko Yamada on drums and Josh Scogin on guitar/vocals. Tbh this band has always felt more like an interesting but ultimately kinda boring project. One of a few sub par projects to be created upon The Chariot disbanding. I got to see this band open for Better Lovers last year on their EU tour and tbf i gotta say this band is WAY better live (or well its gonna be was once they finish their farewell tour) either way i feel this album ... read more

Winter D'Arcy - The Rita / Winter Rose
63

Honestly kinda disappointed by The Rita's side as its kinda just 15 minutes of like the guy jumping cables or something. Not really doing too much for me in terms of noise.
The Winter Rose side is some Nice Harsh Noise Wall tho.

Pharmacist - Vertebrae After Vertebrae
70

The Band Pharmacist have returned with a new LP of theirs! This Japanese Death Metal Leaning Goregrind band has been a pretty notable name within the scene within recent years due to their more stripped back and more Death Metal flavored tinge of Goregrind along with Septage who had done similar stuff but just with a different approach. This new album id say abandons Goregrind for the most part and is just a straight Death Metal record with Pitch shifted vocals. And honestly i think its among ... read more

Eternal Enemy - Demo 2026
75

Peak Crowdkill hardcore. 6 minutes of some good violent fucking Beatdown. Cant wait to get my shit rocked to this.

Sulfuric Cautery - Sulfuric Cautery / Tolerance
83

As always Sulfuric Cautery put out some great Ping Snare spam Goregrind. This time finally digitally releasing the material that was on the Gore over Europe Promo. And yeah its good. As for Tolerance i was very pleasantly surprised as their side is damn good aswell and i will definitely be keeping an eye on them from here as they had managed to Match SxCx in quality here, which not a lot of bands in this genre space could do imo.

Diabarha - Confession of Lazarus
53

There is never a good reason for an Extratone album being 9 hours long. Literally 75% of this is filler for 20% sigma edit music and 5% great speedcore / extratone. Like you could have had a 40 minute album of great music but you chose to stretch it to 9 hours cuz at that length people stop caring if its actually coherent and glaze it cuz it makes you look cool to all those music nerds if you like this long album. Like i get it, long albums can be cool but i feel there should be at least some ... read more

Death - The Sound of Perseverance
15

What XxToeLicker67xX said.

Lneheb - Lneheb
17

Generic raw BM with speedcore kicks over it. Really funny for how lazy and bad it is lmao.

Effluvium - Disembowel the Colonizer
51

Eh its pretty whatever. Paced very sluggishly and in the 2nd song that one guitar section with the stereo mixing just being super weird.

50

Pretty whatever Hardcore [EDM], i was hoping to hear some more interesting stuff but sadly beyond the name its mediocre.

The Warning - Ego
16

Good to know that their music sucks almost as much as their Degenerate ass Fanbase.

"@ToTheEdge You really looked through my MOSTLY POSITIVE ratings and nitpicked 3 of the ones i really didnt enjoy and went ''na your a ragebaiter''. Also love the concept of a single album defining all opinions lmfao. As if that shallow mix of alt metal with rap called linkin park did ANYTHING for any of the genres they are adjacent to. Like im sorry but you got no opinions of your own."
