Contrary to the beliefs of many, the self-titled debut album from English singer, songwriter, and model Dua Lipa was definitely worth the wait. Way back in August of 2015, she released her first single, "New Love," produced by Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey) and Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow). After experiencing some issues with her label, nearly two years later (June 2017), the album was finally released. Her velvety voice is one of the best I have ever heard, and it meshes perfectly with the ... read more

Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out

The truth is, this is the best Panic! At The Disco album... by far. "Pretty. Odd." is alright, "Vices and Virtues" put all the best tracks on the Japanese Deluxe, "Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!" was an abomination that should have never been released, and "Death of a Bachelor" was highly annoying. The way this effortlessly blows the rest of the band's discography out of the water is almost comical. Sure, the whole album sounds like basically one ... read more

Lorde - Pure Heroine

Alright, I will admit, this is probably my favorite album of all time. Every single song, even "Million Dollar Bills," which gets a lot of flack amongst Lorde fans for reasons unknown to me, is amazing. From beginning to end, this album is an experience you won't want to miss. In the first line on "Tennis Court", the opening track, Lorde sings, "Don't you think that it's boring how people talk?" While on the last track on the standard version, "A World ... read more

Charli xcx - Number 1 Angel

This is probably one of my favorite projects by Charli. It's the perfect mix of just straight-up pop music and PC music. I think my favorite tracks would be "Blame It On You," "Roll With Me," and "Drugs (feat. Abra)." My only complaint is that I wish there were more tracks that were solely produced by SOPHIE. However, I am very grateful that we got this amidst the current drought and perpetual wait for her third studio album.

Alina Baraz & Galimatias - Urban Flora

A haunting, transcendent experience. Simply just really good music for relaxation, and Alina's voice is incredible. My favorite tracks would probably be "Show Me" or "Make You Feel."
