The fact that I like this makes me worried that my music taste is too far gone.

Great atmospheric metal combined with post-rock and good production to create one of the most overwhelming, epic records I have ever heard. The dutch spoken word interludes add short breaks that only serve to amplify the massive feeling of the 8-12 minute long songs. My favorite track is 'A solitary reign', I love the combination of the desperate screams and clean singing, especially when they're layered towards the end of the track.

Fun and creative, doesn't stick to one sound but still sounds cohesive. I would even go as far as to say I enjoy listening to this album.
