I couldn't say it's the Asian Kung-Fu Generation sound that I'm used to, it's fine but I can not remember something that impressed me about it and I just listened to it yesterday.
this album was kind of a big clickbait, those vocals were....
quite nice but very basic until the ninth song which is clearly my favourite on this, nothing special just a quality city pop record :)
Sounds pretty cool but the lyrics are not good and this felt mega long I had a hard time listening to this.
Iconic Nu Metal record with redeeming qualities, the production is quite good and Chester had an incredible performance, but this record does struggle with a lot of issues, it certainly failed the test of time and aged quite badly, and lyrics are some of the corniest you will ever hear, this music has an appeal to it, it can make you feel things, and if it's the case than that's great, personally it didn't move me an inch, I couldn't even remember a single song beside ... read more
I forgot to review this but it's just amazing, some of the best kpop music out there.
this is either a hit or miss for me it worked I liked it, a unique jazz fusion vocaloid combo that sounds pretty refreshing, but to be honest the overall quality and what this album brings to the table is not very impressive, the last portion of it is amazing but it stalls a lot and can get quite annoying if you are not very familiar with vocaloid. Musically I loved how vocals where implemented, they really worked and I loved how playful they were and how they escalated, the jazzy part is not ... read more
incredible jazz fusion record :)
I really loved this, it's simple yet very hypnotic and it kinda hits the right spot
A pretty forgettable project, it certainly has a vibe to it and some pretty good instrumentals but alas his rapping is quite mediocre and the lyrics are comically bad.
I just don't get it. What's good about this? It's not even that experimental or ground breaking, some songs are great but like only 3 or 4 the rest is just uuh very bad? maybe I'm not much of an "experimental" hiphop fan
fiona apple aah title. on a more serious note me thinks this album good! listen to this album!
This album felt like a big yawn but I saw some glimpses of quality here and there, it's a little overhated to be honest but some songs here are just horrid while some are actually fine.
overall great, some down moments and a very not so optimal structure that makes it feel like a collection of scattered songs, sometimes it chose to go for a less jazzy sound and a more simpler and calmer tone which I didn't like because it went on for a long time and then it went back to what it was. Otherwise this album is pure diamond and it really did impress me and I will be coming back to it for sure. Favs: Marrakesh Sundown, Starry Nights
okay. I wasn't expecting to like this but it's just mesmerizing "The Graceful Bamboo" "Three Reasons I love you" and "Three Sisters" stand out the most for me though every song is just magical.
it's really hard to rate albums like this because I can see how influential this record is, but this sound got further enhanced and improved upon that I don't feel like this is a better record than Vespertine for example.
