That typa project you have some previous expectations for you have seen people talk about this one before, and it didn't let me down. I've been listening few LPs recently due to college, but the first chance I gave to this one was enough to get me. The psychedelic in tracks like Venus In Furs and the melody in others like Femme Fatale make it somewhat versatile too, in a good way, enough to still give e a feeling that it is well compiled. For sure a must hear. Favorite tracks: Sunday ... read more
Well, I might say Steely Dan failed to let me down again. A Worthy listening LP. I like the vibe their music offers, something smooth and easy to an extent, the other half I still trying to explain, but it's definitely good. Any Major Dude Will Tell You has an amazing melody and cadence, just like Barrytown. It reminds sometimes that classic kinda piano rock. Pretzel Logic is a masterpiece, what a track. Even if the album wasn't good, it is, It would've been worthy just for this ... read more
Opening track gives the album vibe; great opening. Caetano's songs fascinates me cuz the lyrics are written in a beautiful way, with a beautiful melody, let alone his beautiful voice (just listen to Sina, wonderful). I'd say it makes all he's saying deeper, somehow; Sete Mil Vezes is a good example. Um Canto De Afoxé Para O Bloco ... read more

First off, is a short LP, though there's 45 minutes, there are only 8 tracks. I'd say it helps you get familiar with it quicker, thus making it more remarkable. I've started liking punk after Talking Heads and this one comes to reinsure this taste of mine. There's a mixture of ... read more
I was in a pathway of becoming a huge Talking Heads fan, but I'll assume this one, by the first listens, lowered my expectations in a way I wasn't expecting. The guitar is likeable in some points but I don't feel like connected to this one; it feels a little bit off, loose, in a way I'd struggle to explain. I gave it a time to see how it would develop in me, but it likely didn't. There's some good tracks though, I just thought it would've been a better ... read more
