It’s ambitious, it’s big, and it’s messy. Jaden Smith does what Jaden Smith does, sticks to his style which he must credited for as he seems to develop his own style yet the first into songs seem to have a ‘Nutcracker’ theme and dives back into trap synth with a feature from Tyler, the Creator. The features are for the most part average besides Cudi’s chorus. But the main takeaway is, with the music that Jaden is making, there needs to be some kind of story or theme, but the only theme is a teenage heartbreak and flexing. The bright side is it’s a much bigger step from his first two but he’ll need to change something bigger than his instrumentals to become a better artist.
