This project is incredible, with a hard hitting flow that seems relentless throughout never turning in a single that doesn’t hit; and Pete Rock’s production skills of sampling does not go unnoticed, as he accomplishes and soars above expectations.

This is a solid album! Dreamville finally capitalizes on this idea of them being one of the biggest rap labels around and while the sometimes annoying reminder throughout that they are coming for Top Dawg, it seems like that actually might be the case. J. Cole really does his job here infusing some trap bangers as well as giving very soulful and dark verses while the supporting cast of JID and Bas do a great job as the second men. After being hushed and exiled from the mainstream community by the media, Kanye creates perhaps the most sound album, production wise, and earns backs the love and support from not only his fans but the media by revealing a more vulnerable side of himself, which the so-called egotistical musician has never done before.
