why are we sampling the macarena ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ anyway my fave tracks were iffy iffy and creatures
decent album which i was pleasantly surprised by. still not a fan of their cover of cum on feel the noize though. my fave track would probably be breathless
after hearing 1-800 for the first time last year, i figured i’d give this ep a listen. i really enjoyed this ep, the only song i didn’t really like was crazier. my faves would be 1-800 and crazy. im looking forward to checking out other projects by the group!
this is my 3rd album of bathory’s that i’ve checked out and though it’s not my fave of the 3, it’s definitely a solid album. my fave track would probably be total destruction or possessed
i felt like giving this ep another listen before the release of the abomination that is ‘pinky up’. though gnarly had a mixed reception on its release, it’s my fave song on this ep alongside mia. other than that, i find this ep to be rather boring which is a shame because i think these girls have a lot of potential. overall a pretty meh ep with the only songs i find myself re-listening to being mia and gnarly and i find the rest rather forgettable, especially mean girls
i enjoyed the first couple of songs, but i did start to get a little bored during the middle of the record. that being said, it picked up more, for me, towards the end of the record. certainly wouldn't call it a bad album and i would definitely listen to some of these songs again. my favourite songs from the album would probably be yes baby and make you mine
i'm a big fan of this movie and i think this soundtrack is absolutely great. perfectly captures the music it's trying to parody and honestly i find myself listening to these songs often unironically
after hearing the first single they released for this album, i was truly looking forward to it. i enjoyed this project a lot. i think blackhole is a great opening track. as a wonyoung stan, i enjoyed her solo on this album (despite the actual lyrics being a little cringe). also was a big fan of liz’s solo on this album!
yes they changed their sound for the 90s shift, and i love it. i think this album is severely overhated and underrated. i struggle to pick my favourites from this album because they change so often, but at the moment my faves would probably be deliver me (which is in my top 10 def leppard songs too!), truth?, and the title track, plus honourable mentions for gift of flesh and pearl of euphoria. so many amazing songs on here though, and even the b sides on the deluxe version are great. a ... read more
as a fan of mott the hoople, ian hunter, and glam rock in general, i think this is a solid first solo album for ian hunter. my fave tracks on this album are who do you love, i get so excited and once bitten twice shy (although im biased, i find this one is much better than the cover by great white)
by far my favourite mott the hoople album. my top 3 tracks on this album would be alice, marionette and roll away the stone but to be honest there isn’t really any songs i don’t like on this album
Despite a lot of the negative reviews on here, this for me is a no skip album. Even the ‘overplayed’/‘popular’ songs like Livin On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name (one of my personal favourites from the album) and Wanted Dead or Alive don’t feel overplayed for me and don’t find myself needing to skip them because they’re so ‘overplayed’.
My personal favourites from this album would be Let It Rock (which I find is a great opening track!), ... read more
