I'm kinda surprised so many people think this is the best DG album. I mean yeah, it has many of their best songs. Sonically too, it stands out well from their other albums, and sounds great. Even in terms of lyrical complexity, this is yet another album where you could spend hours analyzing the lyrics. But I just feel as if conceptually, and thematically, this album doesn't offer as much as something like The Money Store, or even other albums by them, which didn't have a coherent theme, but each song still remained interesting in that aspect. But even in that aspect, I cannot criticize this album that much, as I don't think most people who listen to Death Grips listen to them for whatever concept they bring into a song, I'm probably just weird. Even with that being said, I still don't think it weighs the album down that much as those critiques don't particularly affect the actual listening experience of this album. This album lacks a true "Achilles' Heel", there isn't anything I can point to that drastically harms the listening experience. So while not quite as perfected as their other most beloved works, It is still worthy of it's appreciation.
