So I might be a little bit late to actually review this, but it’s ok
This isn’t much of a deluxe as it is a whole new album, and half blood was already a album I saw a lot of potential in the first time I heard it around when it came out. The big issue for me on the original was, I felt, despite a couple of standout tracks, he would fall into many of the stereotypical rage features that makes a record grading and annoying. Thanks @iono_u21 for the rec.
Not only does Spotify not have rainbow goblins, but it doesn't have white goblins, either. They have now committed two crimes and deserve death.
This album is so good, man. Masayoshi is actually immune to making a bad project. I feel like this project is a little weaker than Rainbow Goblins, but still so fun. I’ve been genuinely dreading writing a review for the new drake albums because it to me feels so much as a cash grab, rather than a project that Drake had put any thought into. Also, I’m gonna mostly reserve this review for iceman and post this under iceman because maid of honor and habibti are genuinely horrible and don’t even deserve to be talked about, let alone considered albums. Everything about this project feels soulless to me, rather than actually hone in his talents ... read more
