Yak is underrated as one of most naturally talented rappers out there.
This album would probably be an 80 if a majority of the choruses weren't corny as hell.
You can clown Ja all you want, and some of it is deserved, but his debut album is a banger regardless. 'Venni Vetti Vecci' showcases his versatility, the ability to make hit party anthems along with raw street cuts. The production syncs perfectly with his gruff flow.

The reason so many of my ratings are on the high end is that I only rate/review albums that I listen to all the way through. I typically won't force myself to sit through an album if I don't like it, and I generally choose albums that I'm likely to enjoy.
