I'm sorry but this album is a masterpiece. Fully obsessed.
I do tend to veer towards this type of music and by that I mean sad gay indie folk. But I think this has a summer vibe to me. I know this sounds a bit odd but it gives me the same sort of vibe as Solar Power, I can't put my finger on why, this is more melancholy sounding but it gives me that, you know.
This is an album to put on and just chill out to. I think the melodies are beautiful and his voice is like butter. The whole thing is ... read more
I mean, yeah I'll echo what almost everyone is saying and say that I really don't understand why this is a deluxe when SOS came out like two years ago and there's more than enough content here for an album but whatever, she probably has her reasons and they are probably to do with bullshit charts or streaming - who knows.

Perhaps apart from Lost in Space by Aimee Mann, there is no other album out there that is more nostaligic than this one. When I listen to this album, I am instantly transported back to my teenage bedroom. I think with albums like these it's hard to separate that very deep connection you have with the album to assess it without the nostalgia-goggles...but I think this album is a masterpiece.
The difference between this album and other albums of my teenage years is that I still listen to this ... read more
