really underrated in macs discography- some of his best songs are on this record!
really solid. an extra few points for just how good love is the drug is- it starts the album off with such a bang, setting the standards so high the rest of the album doesn't really come close (except for both ends burning).
talk talk don't have a bad song, but come closest to one with the merely average 'does caroline know' which is comfortably the weakest song on this truly quintessential 80s record.
