very much keeps within current pop trends but BENEE has enough personality to make it worth listening to.

really incredible album! less immediately catchy than her previous album, but this is definitely a step up. the heaven or las vegas influence is still apparent but Hatchie makes it sugary sweet- a summery daydream. i feel like this will have a lot of replay value too, and is perfect to put on and listen to in full! standouts are: only one laughing, wonder, stuck, and sage

Really love the direction Stella went on this album- the production and emphasis on the piano really highlights her voice and songwriting ability. An album that will really benefit from multiple listens as there is real depth to Stella's song writing (as always). It's been such a pleasure to see her develop as an artist and I'm so excited to hear what she does next!!

I love Caroline Polachek's and the production on this is really fun but the songwriting was a bit lacking on this to really pull me in and make me love it

very of its time, some very irritating parts, and yet an enjoyable album. off the hook is comfortably the best song on the album for me

truly a singular album. really enjoyed a lot of this but unfortunately did not enjoy 'theme' and considering it was nearly a quarter of the album it really took away quite a bit from the album for me.

first full listen in a while and i'm realising i LOVE this album, particularly the guitar tones. it is the perfect mix of glam and sleaze ( a combo that pulp are still the best at).

there are a few songs I love on this, a couple that are a bit forgettable, with the rest being pretty damn good. its not as good if you're feeling sinister, but as far as this kind of music goes- what even comes close?

nice little folk gem that's just pretty and off kilter enough to stand out from the crowd

some highs that stand along side the many, many other peak Bowie tracks but not as consistent as Station to Station, Low, and Ziggy

not quite the level of imaginal disk but still largely consistently great pop album.

they compliment each other extremely well, would love to hear a whole project from both of them. extremely ethereal

such a lovely time listening to this. very much a spring album.
