There's a pattern here: CSS does its best work when it cuts its shtick with a few recognizable human emotions and maybe even a hint of vulnerability. After all, it's 2006, and we're running out of ways to say "Fuck you."

Fantastic synth punk record. Tons of character, a great knack for hooks, and great grooves. Love it
One of the most criminally overlooked albums of the 2000s. Arguably one of the best dance-punk albums ever recorded. CSS has a very satirical and carefree attitude with some of the tightest dance-punk instrumentals of the decade. It all comes together in a great passage.
The artistically punky Cansei De Ser Sexy by CSS is an unbelievably nostalgic album to me which pretty much symbolises the sound of the musical era of my teens. DIY Disco, Indie Pop and a plethora of new and exciting bands during the mid 2000’s to 2010 had this energy and punk spirit which, as a teen, I immersed myself in fully.
