Had higher expectations but it turned out a bit boring, but it's almost 16 years after his most recent album, so I guess it's still good for how long it has been since he made something.
Dre definetely sounds a bit more washed on this album, but there's still many features on this album, so it's not only his performance to be talking about, but also the artists featured on this. Kendrick was especially great on here, but when is he not?
I expected better production, since it's Dre, but oh well, a bit dissapointed. It's still decent, truly, but it could be better, and that's JUST because it's Dre, some people's favourite producer ever. (he aint the best but still up there)
The trap elements sound pretty good, and I'm glad he's not trying to be like other oldschool artists - repeating the same style over and over just because it made you popular back in the 90s.
Finally, just one Snoop feature, and he definetely didn't dissapoint this time, but it isn't a Dre album without Snoop Dogg.. Just doesn't ever feel the same if he's not on it.
Some of the songs can be quite weak, some of them are quite good, but mainly, they're just decent, not much more to say, they're just OK overall.
The highs on this album definetely aren't outstanding, but still enjoyable. The lows aren't terrible, but still, not as good as the average part of this album.
So yeah, just a decent album, there isn't much more to describe this album.
