Dr. Dre - 2001
85

Slightly better than The Chronic but it's still just as good, also lazy-ass cover
Dr. Dre's better known album, also his best seller with a major amount of over 10 million sales worldwide, this album is definetely his second classic, and arguably the better one.
There's less G-Funk elements on this one, but it's still there and there. I can say I'm not a huge fan of G-Funk, but it's still a decent subgenre.
Definetely enjoyed the production here better than his previous album, but both of them have timeless production, and there's nothing bad that I can say about the production on both albums.
I'm thankful for less Snoop Dogg on this album, because there was simply TOO MUCH of him on the previous album.. Considering I'm not a huge fan of Snoop's music, that's kind of a downside on that album, but still, he was in his prime.
Anyway, less talk about The Chronic, gotta talk about this album.
The features are definetely much more unique this time, especially Eminem, he definetely didn't dissapoint me this time, considering I'm a straight-up hater.
The skits may be too much, especially Pause 4 Porno, but oh well, not a Dre album without sex noises am I right
It would definetely be better if only the 2nd half held up as well as the first one did, but still, gotta respect some of the songs, but I'm just not feeling the rest of the songs.
Anyway, good album, definetely another staple in Hip-Hop, but less influential than The Chronic.

Fav. Track - Forgot About Dre
Least Fav. Track - Housewife
